How To Prepare For Your Pap Smear
Pap smears are an important screening tool for cervical cancer. All women should have annual Pap smears beginning at age 21, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Women 21 to 29 should get a Pap every two years, then annually from ages 30 to 64. Learn how to prepare for accurate Pap smear results.

What To Expect When You See Your GYN
Have you ever been to an obstetrician/gynecologist or OB/GYN for a pelvic exam and Pap test? If your answer is "no" and you are 21 or older, pick up your phone today and make an appointment with your doctor or a family planning clinic in your area. On the other hand, if your answer is "yes," then how long has it been since your last Pap smear and pelvic exam?

Breast Cancer Screening
A mammogram is an x-ray of the breast and surrounding tissues which can effectively detect cancers long before you might feel a change during your monthly breast self- exam. Mammography can detect breast changes which could signify very early breast cancer.

Benign Fibrocystic Breast Disease
Fibrocystic breast disease is usually a benign (non-cancerous) condition. Symptoms include swollen, tender breasts, and/or one or more lumps. Frequently, symptoms worsen just before a woman's menstrual cycle and lessen near the end. For the majority of women these symptoms are a temporary discomfort; however, some women experience severe pain.
