| From Denise Maher, your About Women's Health Editor Women's health advocates cheered a big decision at last fall's UN climate summit when governments around the world pledged to insert more women into climate change conversations, and to craft more gender-sensitive climate policies. Indeed, global women's health is especially threatened by changes in the climate: besides facing a higher risk of death from heat waves, women are more likely to die from natural disasters such as storms, droughts and floods compared to men.
