A diet that’s rich in fermented foods may help to curb social anxiety among young adults, according to new research released this week.

The reasons are connected to the “gut-brain axis,” the link between the brain and the belly. You might already know that there’s a connection, there – after all, a lot of people experience indigestion when they’re feeling very stressed out.
