News: HIV Outbreak in Indiana
In a matter of weeks, Austin, Indiana has seen almost 90 new cases of HIV in a population of just 4,000. The governor declared a state of emergency, and a fiery debate has ignited over whether or not clean needles should be provided by the state for users of heroin – since dirty needles were the cause of the outbreak.
